ADA__The red-hot Ada High School volleyball team defeated visiting Blanchard Valley Conference foe McComb in four sets on Wednesday, September 10.
The Bulldog girls improved to 10-1 overall and 2-1 in the BVC with the 25-20, 25-16, 23-25, 25-13 victory. Ada continues to build on its best season start since their NWC three-peat run from 2015-17.
McComb fell to 3-3 overall and 0-3 in BVC play after suffering the defeat.
Freshman Téa Griffith compiled four kills, seven digs, 12 assists, three aces and a whopping, career-high eight blocks.
Junior setter Jaylin St. Laurent served up two aces, made eight digs and passed out 16 assists.
Senior Anna Conley hammered 10 kills and came up with seven digs. Junior Brooklynn Andreasen drilled nine kills, served two aces and also mustered a career-best eight blocks.
Junior Dailah Preston contributed five blocks, five kills and three aces. Junior Alivia Gibson hit three kills and came up with 14 digs.
Senior libero Alyssa Madison hustled up 23 digs.
The Ada junior varsity also beat McComb, 2-0.
The Bulldog girls host league foe Elmwood (3-4, 1-1 BVC) on Monday, September 15.
