Two local entrepreneurs are establishing a grab-and-go food market at The Mezza at the Regal Beagle. Ang’s Amazing Graze and Circle U Waffle Co., which were established as catering and food truck services, are now joining forces in a brick-and-mortar shop at 105 N. Main Street, as well as with ticketed events at “The Beagle.”

On Thursday, October 16, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., you can drop in to see how the space is shaping up, purchase retail items and enjoy a complimentary coffee. These hours have been designated as part of the new Third Thursdays promotion by the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Mezza market concept and space was created during the renovation of the Regal Beagle tavern and residential units in the building by owner Dr. Monzer Saad. The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce provided the networking opportunity to connect him with Cindy Ulrey of Circle U. Waffle Company and Angela Miller of Ang’s Amazing Graze. 

Circle Waffle Co. specializes in the latest trends in drinks and desserts, from dirty sodas to Dubai chocolate. When the Icon dropped by, a cold brew banana coffee was being tested. 

Ang’s Amazing Graze offers salads, sandwiches, dips and cheese ball flights (Ang notes that she has 72 cheese ball recipes). Fall menu items will include a roasted corn-bacon Caesar salad/sandwich and a chicken waffle apple salad/sandwich.  Local artisan foods will also be on offer.

The Mezza will provide food items after The Regal Beagle kitchen closes for the evening. 

Cindy and Ang will also host events such as ladies’ and family sing-along brunches, as well as workshops.
