Ada Varsity Singers host and perform in 48th Ada Music Feast

On Saturday, November 8, Ada High School hosted the 48th annual Ada Music Feast, a show choir competition and collaboration by Ada students, teachers and community members. Ten schools participated in performances from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
The event currently serves as a Show Choir season opener. Ada's Varsity Singers are a group of 25 singer-dancers accompanied by the instrumental combo The Experience. Teacher Scott Henning is the show choir director and teacher Ben Hemming is the instrumental director. Choreographers are Oshra and Sam Gadkar. The show choir also has a six-person technical crew.
The Varsity Singers provided an exhibition performance, including the following:
- “ American Idiot” with soloists Marley Bulerin and David Klear
- “ Run Freedom, Run” with soloist Justin Bowden
- “ Rise Up” with soloists Morgan Sutherly and Alyssa Nau
- “ Confident/ Uprising”
- “ Fighter” with soloist Emily Thaxton
Kenton Middle School group Dimensions also provided an exhibition performance.
