On Friday, January 23, the Ada High School boys' basketball team took a road trip to play McComb at Cleveland's Rocket Arena, which is home to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Icon photographer Mark Andreasen remarks, ‘It was an awesome opportunity for our Ada students to experience the familiarity of a game they have enjoyed playing for years, in a place where their heroes play on a nightly basis!
It was also special for other students, faculty and family members to be able to cheer on their Ada Bulldogs in an arena that seats over 19,000 people, with the game’s score being kept on the jumbotron above the court, the Ada High School cheerleaders performing their routines, and the familiar voice of Todd Madison resonating from the Rocket Arena sound system."
Participants from Ada also had the opportunity to see the Cavaliers beat the Sacramento Kings 123-118 later that evening.
