Ada FFA hosts Small Animal Day for pre K-5 students
MEDIA RELEASE_On May 13, a class of 52 FFA students at Ada Local Schools planned and led an engaging agricultural event for over 500 students.
Students from preschool through fifth grade rotated through six hands-on learning stations that included interacting with a combine, rabbits, wheat and honey bees. Students also participated in relays and a petting zoo.
The High School Ag students spent a lot of time planning, preparing and leading these engaging lessons.
"From teaching younger students about agriculture and animals to creating fun, interactive activities, they did an outstanding job representing Ada FFA and Ada [Local] Schools, and sharing their passion for agriculture," said Ada Agriculture Instructor & FFA Advisor, Kori Lochard.
The students look forward to this annual event at the end of each school year.
