Calvin Lee Fisher worked at Beatitudes
Calvin Lee Fisher, 68, of Ada, Ohio, passed away peacefully in Minster, Ohio on June 9, 2026, surrounded by family. Calvin was born on May 1, 1958, in Lima, Ohio, to LeRoy Fisher and Betty (Hole) Fisher. Raised in Wapakoneta, Ohio, he spent most of his life in the region.
Calvin worked many jobs over the years and spent much of his career in construction. During the past 15 years living in Ada, he worked at the Beatitudes and enjoyed volunteering with the Summer Meals Program, where he helped provide activities and meals for children during the summer months. He was known for his lively personality. Calvin especially loved Fourth of July celebrations, when he could gather with friends and loved ones, enjoy fireworks, and was sure to be the life of the party.
He is survived by his children, Jeramy L. Fisher of Lebanon, Ohio; Christopher J. (Heather) Fisher of Sherwood, Ohio; Amanda R. (Tony) Knerr of Findlay, Ohio; and Ashleigh F. Fisher of Findlay, Ohio. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. His siblings Joe (Peggy dec.) Fisher of Port Charlotte, FL, Tim (Judy) Fisher of North Lewisburg, Ohio, Pat (Robert) Conley, Wapakoneta, Ohio, Cathy (Barry) Krites, Wapakoneta, Ohio and Bruce Fisher, Wapakoneta, Ohio.
The Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, June 16 from 11a.m. to Noon at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 708 N. Dixie Hwy. Wapakoneta, Ohio, where services honoring Calvin’s life will follow at 12 Noon, officiated by Pastor Jay Martin
All who knew Calvin, including family near and far and those connected to him at different points in life, are invited to come together, pay their respects, and remember the good times they shared with him.
The family wishes to express their special thanks to the staff of CareCore at Heritage, Minter, Ohio and Wilson Hospice.
In lieu of flowers or other memorials, the family asks that memorial donations be made towards Calvin’s final expenses. Memorials can be made to his son Christopher.
