PANDORA__The visiting Ada High School volleyball team lost the first game but came back to defeat Pandora-Gilboa over four sets in a Blanchard Valley Conference match on Monday, Sept. 21.

The streaking Bulldogs won 17-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-23 to record their sixth straight victory.

Ada improved to 12-1 overall, and 3-0 in BVC play with the road victory. The Bulldogs, Arlington, McComb and Leipsic are all tied atop the league at 3-0.

Slumping P-G dropped to 4-7 overall and 0-3 in the BVC after the home defeat.

Ada senior Dailah Preston slammed 12 kills, came up with three solo blocks and added one block assist.

Sophomore Lucy Carter mustered up 22 digs and passed out two assists. 

Senior Alicia Gibson dealt four aces, hustled up 10 digs and hit three kills. 

Sophomore Tea Griffith served up five aces, came up with six digs, doled out 17 assists and hammered eight kills. She also came up with one solo block and one assisted block. 

Senior Jaylin St. Laurent served two aces, made seven digs and dished out 14 assists. 

Senior Brooklyn Andreasen drilled 11 kills, made seven digs and came up with two solo blocks.

Sophomore Haylyn Geiger served one ace and hit one kill. Senior Harlyn Lowry came up with three digs.

Ada Freshman Jaycee Allen made two digs and hit one kill.

Rocket Laura Perkins knocked down 14 kills to pace P-G. Claire Osting contributed 10 kills, and Jayda Schnipke passed out 14 assists. Rocket Kenley Rieman added 13 assists.

UP NEXT
Ada hosts Van Buren (9-2, 2-1 BVC) Wednesday in a key league contest. VB lost 3-1 to powerhouse Leipsic (10-1) Monday despite 19 kills by Black Knight Brooklyn Wilkin.

Ada then plays at the Cory-Rawson Invitational Saturday.
