FROM ONU.EDU/NEWS__Ohio Northern University will celebrate its Homecoming & Reunion Weekend on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25 and 26, offering a variety of fun activities and events for alumni, students, and the local community.

The weekend includes opportunities for alumni to reconnect with college friends while enjoying campus tours, reunion gatherings, tailgating, and much more. Many events are open to the general public, including a parade, concerts and sporting events.

The Homecoming parade will step off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, on Main Street in Ada. This year’s grand marshals are Kevin Cramer, BSCPE ’11 and Tess (Pitcovich) McVey, BSBA ’22, MSA ’23—the 2026 recipients of ONU’s William L. Robinson Young Alumni Award. They are being recognized for their passion and loyalty toward their profession, community, and alma mater.

Additional Homecoming & Reunion Weekend events for the public to enjoy include:

• Free Homecoming Choral Concert in Presser Hall’s Snyder Recital Hall on Friday at 8 p.m.
• Ceramic art retrospective and reception for ONU Professor Emeritus of Art, Bruce Chesser, in the Elzay Gallery of Art on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The exhibit will also be open on Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Tailgate lunch at the King-Horn Sports Center and Inflatables on the Tundra, Saturday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• ONU vs. Albion (Mich.) men’s soccer match at Kerscher Stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m.
• ONU vs. Wilmington football game at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Dial-Roberson Stadium. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
• Musical entertainment at The Inn at Ohio Northern University, featuring Dueling Pianos (Dean Altstaetter and Jonathan Wey) on Friday, 5 – 8 p.m.; and Eric Miglin, Saturday, 5 – 8 p.m.
