Goodbye blue totes, hello increase in the trash bill. Within the next few weeks, the blue trash and recycle totes of Republic will be replaced by totes from Wright Refuse in Lima since Wright was the lowest bidder on trash pickup for the next three years. The water/sewer/trash bill will increase with the December billing. The trash portion of the bill has been $14 a month. It will now be $17.25.
