Ada senior Klava Katayama (in photo) set a district record and almost all Bulldog swimmers set personal-best times in 10 events in the Div. II district meet at BGSU on Friday. Klava advances to the state meet this week for the fourth time, this year in the 100-yard butterfly and the 50 freestyle. The girls' freestyle relay of Carlie Oldfield, Paige Cole, Katayama and Kaitlyn Bowden qualified in the 200 freestyle. The state meet is Feb. 20-21 at Canton's Branin Natatorium. (Nick Barnes photo)
