Women's Golf at Berry Invitational

ROME, Ga. — The Ohio Northern women's golf team broke its 36-hole school record by a full 18 strokes and finished third of 12 teams at the Berry (Ga.) Chik-Fil-A Invitational Monday and Tuesday at the Coosa Country Club.

The Polar Bears (42-3 overall) carded a 310-311—621, which is 18 shots better than the previous record of 639 set twice in 2021.

Weed-free soybean fields Increase in 2022

HARDIN CO. – Each year before soybean harvest, county Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Educators conduct a county weed survey. The purpose of this survey is to determine the type and number of weeds that are infesting farm fields. Another reason is to develop an understanding of which weeds are becoming resistant to herbicides used by farmers.

First nine weeks 2022-2023 Ada Schools honor roll

Blessings for Christmas

If you are a family that lives in the Ada School District that is in need this Christmas Season, the Blessings for Christmas program invites you to sign up at the First Presbyterain Church of Ada (corner of Lincoln and Main) on one of the following dates.

Please bring ID and a current utility bill with you and use the side entrance on Lincoln Street across from Post Office. Items will be available for pick-up in December.

2022 Band-O-Rama

At 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 31,the ONU Marching Band wraps up football season with a concert at the Freed Center. The performance features musical selections from the fall show titled “Magnificence” including 1812 Overture and themes from The Magnificent Seven and The Avengers.

Walk with a Doc

OhioHealth in partnership with Ohio State University Extension, Ohio Northern University HealthWise, and Kenton City Schools has announced that Walk With a Doc programming will be starting again in person.

Participants will meet from on the first Mondays of the month from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Kenton Elementary School, 631 Silver Street, Kenton, OH 43326. There is no charge for this program.
