This ONU all-nighter was for a good cause: Relay for Life

Lots of Ohio Northern University students stayed up all night Friday - and the all-nighter was for a great cause. ONU's 12-hour Relay for Life took center stage in the King Horn Center.

The campus Relay had raised over $10,000 toward its $17,000 goal before the evening began.

Monty Siekerman attended the Relay andtook the following photos in the booklet at the bottom of this story:

• Woody and Mickey greet people at the registration desk. Disney was this year's theme. The students raise a significant amount of money annually to help cure cancer.

• Kappa Alpha Theta sorority was among many groups participating in ONU Relay for Life.

• Up for bid...guys and gals bid for dates to raise money for ONU Relay for Life. Here are some of the candidates that an ONU student could bid on for a date.

• Hunter Nuzum of Bluffton and Presley Purcell of Kenton, dressed as a character from "Frozen," walk the Sports Center track.

• Larissa Harpel represents the Kenton Relay for Life at the ONU Relay for Life to show support from other county chapters.

• Zack Goodchild and Elizabeth Yaeger haul in a heavy container of coffee for ONU Relay for Life all-nighter event.

• Lauren Nye helps at the Phi Mu Delta booth at the ONU Relay for Life. Balloons represent the movie "Up."
