Lots of congrats all the way around - plus check out all these school announcements

Ada students are busy this winter. Check out the latest announcement list from the school website:

CONGRATULATIONS: to the Junior High Quiz Bowl team that finished 4th overall out of 16 teams at Coldwater on Saturday.

CONGRATULATIONS: to all of the student who had work selected for the Kewpee High School Art Show: Alexandra, Mackenzie, Madeline, Casey and special congratulations to Callee who received 2nd place in printmaking, Lyric who received 3rd place in printmaking and Claire who received 3rd place in painting. The show is up now until April 9th at Artspace Lima.

CONGRATULATIONS to Chase on qualifying for the state wrestling tournament! Chase will be competing in the Schottenstein center this weekend in Columbus. The wrestling team is selling shirts to support Chase. Pick up an order form in the high school office to purchase a shirt. Shirts are $10 and order forms are due by Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Liberty Belles and Boys 4-H Club Sign-up
Join the fun as the Liberty Belles and Boys celebrate their 80th 4-H year. 4-H is open to youth 8 years of age and in the 3rd grade. Liberty Belles and Boys will hold their sign-up meeting Tuesday, March 1 from 7-8 p.m. at the Ada First Presbyterian Church. Regular club meetings will be held the first, third and fifth Tuesdays of the month March 15 through July 19 at the church.

Physics for the 2016-2017 school year: Any student who is considering taking Physics next school year must see Mr. Lusk at your earliest convenience.

National Honor Society: Applications for the National Honor Society were mailed home to juniors and seniors with a GPA of 3.4 or higher that is not already members of NHS. If you believe you should have received an application and did not or would like additional copies of the application, please see Mrs. Davis. Also, the list of potential Honor Points has been revised. Applying candidates should see Mrs. Davis for an updated list and with any questions.

Attention any Junior interested in taking AP English as a senior: We will have a meeting on Tuesday, March 1st at lunch. Please grab your lunch and come to Mr. Ames' room. We will discuss the cost and the workload as well as answer any questions you may have about the AP course.

Attention sophomores or juniors interested in taking the Film and Lit Elective next year: We will have a meeting on Wednesday, March 2nd at lunch. Please grab your lunch and come to Mr. Ames' room. We will discuss the cost and the workload as well as answer any questions you may have about the course.

Yearbook Staff: Yearbooks are on sale. Please order yours at yearbookordercenter.com with our school code 4902. Parents or friends can also use yearbookordercenter.com under “buy a year book ad” to buy a senior ad. They can upload their own pictures and a special message for their seniors.

ADA DIAMONDS: Would any junior high boy interested in playing Pony League baseball, please pick up a form in the high school office.

GIRL’S VARSITY SOCCER: strength and conditioning for anyone not participating in a Spring sport will begin Wednesday, March 2, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Meet in the weight room.

ENGLAND & FRANCE TRIP MEETING: There will be a meeting during lunch for students who are going on the England and France trip this summer. Meet in Mrs. Salyer's room at 12: 50 p.m., Thursday, March 3.
