Fall programming underway at Ada HS

Book club, ACT tutoring and other activities on starting to take place at Ada High School as fall programming gets underway. Here's the latest from the Ada school website on these themes.

Oct. 31: 2 Hour Early Dismissal at 1:30 p.m. for staff professional development meeting

Attention juniors and seniors:  Just a reminder that you can apply to get Rhodes credits for Comp or Lit or Comm classes for 2nd semester but you need to apply by Nov. 15. You can apply online or pick up an application in Mrs. Prater's office.

 ACT Tutoring: For anyone looking to improve their ACT score, free and personalized ACT tutoring sessions will be offered Mondays and Thursdays beginning next Monday, Oct. 30, after school in Mr. Ames' room from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

BOOK CLUB: is gearing up for the first meeting of the year on Friday, Oct. 27, during lunch.  You will be dismissed from the cafeteria at 12:45 p.m. to enjoy book discussion and dessert waffles.  Anyone wishing to be a part of Book Club will need to have picked up a copy of this month's title from Mrs. Smith in the library.   Book Club is open to any student in grades 9-12.

Jr. High and High School Softball players:  Local and Regional Winter Softball Camps and Academy registrations for all skill levels are soon approaching.  These are excellent opportunities which range from a single to multiple days for you to advance your skills in advance of the upcoming season.  If you have an interest in attending please contact Coach Erickson.
