What time is it in Ada?

There are many ways to tell time in Ada. Perhaps the most familiar clock is in the depot park on Main Street.

"Brave" starts Friday at Ada Theatre; "Madagascar 3" ends Thursday

"Brave," rated PG,  start at the Ada Theatre on Friday, June 22, according to James Curlis of the theatre.

Shows are:
Fridays and Saturdays at 7 and 9:30 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays matinees at 1:30 and 4 p.m.
Daily at 7 p.m.

"Madagascar 3" ends on Thursday evening.

Brave is a computer-animated fantasy adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It was written by Mark Andrews, Steve Purcell, Brenda Chapman and Irene Mecchi, directed by Andrews and Chapman and co-directed by Purcell.

Thelma Risner Fleming funeral was June 16

Thelma Risner Fleming, 62, died at 2:09 p.m. June 12, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born Oct. 12, 1949, in Hardin County to Edward “Bill” and Elsie Nichols Risner. Her father survives in Alger. Her mother preceded her in death. On Jan. 30, 1970, she married Larry D. Fleming, who survives in Ada.

Mrs. Fleming retired from private home health care.
