Here is a report of Ohio Northern University fall sport events since Saturday.

Junior Zach Yoder (Goshen, Ind./Northridge) scored in the 71st minute to lead the Ohio Northern men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory at NAIA foe Huntington (Ind.) on Monday afternoon at King Stadium.

The Polar Bears improve to 4-2-1 with their third consecutive win.

The Foresters, who received votes in the latest NAIA poll, fall to 5-2-1 after seeing their 4-match win streak snapped.

Yoder scored his sixth career goal and his first of the season with 19:52 left in the match to snap a scoreless tie.

Sophomore John Lombardo (Solon) picked up his fourth shutout of the season and the eighth of his career and has run his scoreless streak to 270:13 over the past four matches.

Lombardo was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts on a pair of ONU victories against No. 7-Ohio Wesleyan (1-0) and Oberlin (4-0) last week.

He had eight saves in the two wins.

It is the second time in his career that Lombardo has won the award, gaining the honor as a freshman on Oct. 1, 2018.

This season, Lombardo has 27 saves and a 1.29 goals against average.

Ohio Northern out-shot Huntington 12-6.

The Polar Bears will return home on Wednesday night for a 7 pm match against Hanover (Ind.) at Kerscher Stadium.
