Patsy Fern Worrell was a member of the County Line Church of the Brethren

Patsy Fern Worrell, age 79, went home to be with her Lord and husband Ralph whom passed away on March 6th of this year, at Vancrest of Ada  on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 6:45 PM.

She was born on October 30, 1941 in Lima, Ohio to Clyde N. and Fern (McCarty) Long who preceded her in death. She married Ralph M. Worrell on January 26, 1957, and they were married for sixty-three years.   

Patsy formerly worked at Gardner Drug Store, Ada and at Lima Memorial Health System.  She was a member of the County Line Church of the Brethren, Harrod.  Patsy was loved by everyone who knew her.  Her greatest love was her family whom she loved endlessly.

Surviving are her two daughters: Colleen (Mark) Hefner of Lima and Annette McConnaha of LaFayette; three grandsons: Chet (Tammie) Nickles, Shane Nickles and Tyler (Tarah) Wolf; two granddaughters: Melinda (Jim) Williams and Amanda (Shilo Clouse) Hefner; four great granddaughters: Alyssa (Garrett) Heuerman, Madison Nickles, Hannah Williams and Rylenn Wolf; six great grandsons: Kyle (Emily Buettner) Williams, Jacob Williams, Levi Nickles, Hunter Nickles, Caden Nickles, and Henry Wolf; one great-great granddaughter, Brinlee Heuerman; one great-great grandson, Briggs Heuerman; a brother, Larry Long of Lima; two sisters-in-law: Diana Long and Maxine Hatton; and many nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her two brothers: Mack Long and Hugh Long.

A special thank you to the staff at Vancrest of Ada and Putnam County Hospice for their love and care of both Patsy and Ralph.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Brandon Wireman officiating.  Burial will be in Liberty Chapel Cemetery, LaFayette.

Friends may call 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.  

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
