38 members attend Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes meeting

The Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes 4-H club met on May 4th in the Hardin Northern Ag building. The meeting was presided by Holly Wilson and roll call was favorite movie. Thirty-eight members, seven advisors, and thirteen guests were present. The meeting started with recreation at seven, where the members exercised on the school playground. The 4-H pledge and Pledge of Allegiance were led by Paytin Dye and Bo Bame.

Alger Farmers elect 2015 officers; next meeting May 25

The Alger Jr. Farmers 4-H Club held their 1st meeting on April 12th at 1:00 pm at the 235 Grill in Alger. The meeting was called to order by Cecily Preston and the pledge of Allegiance was led by Trevor Dotson followed by the 4-H Pledge led by Cecily Preston. Trevor Dotson gave the treasurers report from last years balance. The election of 2015 officers was held with the following elected:

President- Ross Thompson

Vice-President – Trevor Dotson

Secretary - Wyatt Daniels

Treasurer – Dylan Thompson

Reporter – Jason Helton

Health Officer – Grasean Evans, Alyssa Leonard

Pawsitive Attitudes 4-H Club elects officers

The Pawsitive Attitudes 4-H club held their first meeting at the Alger Public Library.  The club thanks the library for the use of their lovely building.  There were 11 members, 2 advisors and 3 guests present.

The club discussed how they might involve their dogs in the community.  Possibilities include visiting nursing homes and a summer reading buddies program at the library.
They also made arrangements and set a date for their annual kick-off party to be held at the Osborne residence.

Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes 4-H club meets

The Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes 4-H club met on March 23 in the Hardin Northern Ag building.

The meeting was presided by Holly Wilson and roll call was favorite candy bar. Forty-two members, seven advisors, and thirteen guests were present. The meeting started with recreation at seven, where the members participated in indoor relays.

The 4-H pledge and Pledge of Allegiance were led by Brenna Flowers and Carl Woodruff. Project books were passed out and dues were paid. Alyssa Heldman educated members on how to be safe when mowing lawns this summer.

Hardin County Cottontails 4-H Club elects officers

The Hardin County Cottontails held their bi-monthly meeting Sunday April 12th at the Alger Park.  An election of officers for 2015 took place.  The elected officers for 2015 are as follows:

President: Austin Decker
Vice president: Cassie Decker
Secretary: Miranda Webb
Treasurer:  Abbie Culver
Reporter:  Jacey Madden
Health:  Allison Moore
Safety:  Zac Madden
Recreation:  Shelby Sprang

Liberty Belles and Boys elect officers

The Liberty Belles and Boys had a 4-H organized for the year earlier this week. There were 39 members who attended. 

Officers were elected as follows Will Allen - President, Nora Dellifield - Vice President, Kaitlyn Long - Secretary, Casey Swick- Treasurer, Maddie Gossard - Reporter and Historian, Jon Allen- Photographer, Katey Stuart - Health, Andrew Rohrabaugh- Safety, Carson Gossard- Flags, Molly Sheets, Paige Jochims, and Reece Evans- Recreation Leaders.
