Despite that this car supports the Bulldogs and one of the high school's color is purple - this is not an Ada car. The Icon found it on a trip to Iowa. It's on a 2004 Mustang.

Icon dog of the week - Raven

This is Raven. Raven is 4 months old. She is described as very playful and loving, with high energy. Could you provide a loving forever home for Raven?

To give a dog a forever home, contact the Hardin County dog shelter. It is located at 49 Jones Road on the west side of Kenton.

Hours: 9 am to 4 pm on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Phone: 419-674-2209.

Generally, about 20 to 25 dogs are available for viewing.

The shelter is also the place to contact for giving up a dog, if you find a lost or stray dog, or if you come in contact with a vicious dog. It costs $20 to surrender a dog, which pays for deworming and immunizations for when it is rescued.

By Caleb Scott

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team showed another strong defensive effort as it played to a 0-0 draw with No.22-ranked Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) on Saturday evening at Kerscher Stadium.

The Polar Bears move to move to 2-1-1 overall, while the Tartans move to 3-0-1.

Defense was yet again a strong point for Northern as it held the No. 22-ranked Tartans in check for 110 minutes.

Sophomore goalkeeper Meagan Grierson (Miamisburg) led the way for Northern in the contest as she recorded seven saves.

After being shutout 9-0 in shots in the first half, Northern would get two shots in the second half to put pressure on the CMU defense.
