Village offers water customers several payment options

Water Bill Payment Options

In order to provide customers with the tools they need, the Village of Ada offers a number of water bill payment options. Bills are printed on a monthly basis, usually around the 25th of each month, and payments are due on the 10th of each month.

Many customers stop in the Village office to pay their bills. Payments can be made in the office during regular office hours, and accepted payment methods are check, cash, money order, and Visa, MasterCard and Discover debit/credit cards.

Here's a reminder of all the options available at the Ada pool this summer - in case your forgot

Did you know that you could rent the Ada Community Pool for a party? Or, that adults have laps swims three days a week? Or, midnight swims (8 p.m. to midnight) are a great way to cool off in the evening?

The Ada Icon offers viewers a copy of the 2013 pool rules and regulations, which lists prices and all other options available to community residents...including party rentals, adult laps swims, midnight swims and more.

ONU pharmacy student Rebecca Yeh crowned Miss Minnesota 2013

ONU pharmacy student Rebecca Yeh will represent Minnesota this year at the Miss America Pageant, the Miss America Organization announced.

Yeh was crowned Miss Minnesota 2013 on Saturday, June 13, in Eden Prairie.

Yeh is a graduate of Brainerd High School who is a student in the six-year program for a doctorate in pharmacy at Ohio Northern University, according to her official pageant biography.

While cruising in the Appalachians

You may wonder why this photo is on the Ada Icon. Every photo has a story. Here's the story behind this photo, and, yes, there's an Ada connection.

The Icon owners were on vacation last week. While returning to northwestern Ohio after a week in Georgia, this black Cadillac passed The Icon cruiser somewhere on Interstate 64  while in the Allegeny Mountains of Virginia close to the West Virginia state line. (Check out the panoramic photo. It shows a sign stating "Callaghan, Virginia.")
