Ada P.E.O. supports women’s education

A former “secret society” is now one of Hardin’s County’s best kept secrets when it comes to promoting educational opportunities for women

A former “secret society” is now one of Hardin’s County’s best kept secrets when it comes to promoting educational opportunities for women.

The Ada Chapter of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) is part of a 150-year-old national organization that was initially labeled as secret because only members knew what the three letters stood for.

In the past two decades, P.E.O. International has re-branded itself as an inclusive, forward-moving organization focused on creating opportunities for women students in higher education.

Noteworthy Community Choir hits the road this summer!

From contemporary Broadway tunes to standard jazz and show tunes, Noteworthy Community Choir brings music to three communities this summer.

The Ada-based choir performed at the ONU/Lima Symphony pops concert in July, at Kenton's Immaculate Conception summer festival and at Maple Crest, Bluffton, in August.

Contact NCC to become a part of an exciting and growing choral organization.  Audition for the upcoming season, or consider the non-auditioned sections for both adults and children!
