Ever hear of an escape room?

There are several escape rooms in the bigger cities in Ohio and one in Findlay. Soon, there will be one nearby. In order to keep Ada Icon readers in the know on the latest trends, we did some digging to find out what an escape room is all about.

Ray Hadley, who is pastoring a church called Ada Family Center, explained that escape rooms are a live adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints, and strategy to solve the mystery of each room.

Soup's Up - With cold winds blowing, Ada Presbyterians chose a perfect night for a soup and salad supper.

Tuesday evening the church members and those in the community raised money for missions. The raffle of a quilt and an auction of many items added to the mission total.

Soup servers are (from left) Diane Atkinson, Eilene Hubbard, and Debbie Roehrle.
