ADA - The Ada varsity baseball team looks to continue improving with the return of 15 lettermen and several starters among its deep 29-player roster.

The Bulldogs finished 5-15 overall and 1-7 in Northwest Conference play in 2018 but were better, even if the record did not adequately show it.    

Two days in the 60s!

It’s getting warmer. In the past seven days, the area experienced two days of 60+ degree temperatures with lows reaching only to the 20s. Here’s the the daily highs and lows provided by Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer.

3 Brothers Pizza now open for lunch

3 Brothers Pizza, 105 S. Main St., Ada, is now open for lunch seven days a week, according to Brian Clum, owner.

New hours follow:
• Mondays through Thursdays –
   11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Fridays and Saturdays –
   11 a.m. to midnight
• Sundays –
   Noon to 8 p.m.

The pizza shop also has a new six-page menu. A copy is printed at the bottom of this story as an attachment.

Brian and Kelly Clum purchased 3 Brothers Pizza from Rod and Linda Dysert at the beginning of the year.

Ada tennis wins opening scrimmage

ADA - The Ada tennis team won a scrimmage match tune-up handily over visiting Toledo Whitmer 5-1 at the Ohio Northern University Marmon courts on Tuesday evening.

Ada swept all four singles matches in straight sets by a combined total of 48 games to five, and also won the first doubles match.

Kiwanis Pancake & Sausage Day tickets available

Saturday, March 30, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mark your calendar and buy your tickets for the annual Ada Kiwanis Club Pancake and Sausage Day. The meal will be served from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, in the Ada Schools cafeteria.
