ONU women's bball team: Etched into the record books

The 2016-17 Ohio Northern women's basketball team etched its name into the record books. After a remarkable 30-1 season, it will be remembered as the greatest team in Ohio Northern women's basketball history.

Under 16-year head coach Michele Durand, the Polar Bears completed a perfect 25-0 regular season for the first time in school history.

They won the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season Title for the third consecutive year, finishing with a record of 18-0.

Festival of Colors - looks like fun

The ONU  Indian Student Association held a springtime Holi Festival on the Tundra on Sunday afternoon. It's a Festival of Colors.

Holi is a Hindu festival that signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, and the end of winter. During the festival, participants play, chase, and color each other with dry powder.

It is a time for people to play, laugh, and enjoy each other's company. Indian Student Association is an organization that promotes education and participation in the Indian culture.

Cooper named Top Cop in Ada and Delphos

Ptl. Alec Cooper was named Ada's Top Cop by Mothers Against Drunk Driving for his performance in Ada for taking drunk drivers off of the roads.  He was a full-time officer in Ada in 2016 before taking a full-time position with the Delphos Police later that year where, for the first time in the history of MADD, he was named Top Cop in Delphos as well.

Why is Steve White a proud Polar Bear?

Steve White received his BSBA degree for the Class of 2017. He was a student in the late 1960s but was unable to graduate being short credit hours in 1971. Fast forward 46 years and he is officially a graduate and forever a proud Polar Bear.

Otterbein beats ONU in men's lacrosse

WESTERVILLE -- Sophomore Anthony Pavone picked up his sixth career hat trick to lead the Ohio Northern men's lacrosse team in a 13-7 loss at Otterbein on Wednesday.

The Polar Bears (9-6 overall, 4-3 Ohio Athletic Conference) also got goals from sophomores Peter Hardt (Bethpage, N.Y./Plainedge), Connor Preston (Carmel, Ind.) and Max Weese (Columbus/Hilliard Darby) and freshman Cameron Marous(Brecksville).

The Cardinals (8-8, 5-2) got four goals from Connor Dziewit.
