Lima Memorial Pediatrics Unit benefits from ONU student donation

Taylor Wohlgamuth donates stuffed polar bears; also donated to Hardin Memorial

Taylor Wohlgamuth, a senior psychology major from Ohio Northern University, donated stuffed polar bears to the pediatrics unit at Lima Memorial on Feb. 16.

The donation was part Taylor’s involvement in Mortar Board, a national honor society recognizing college seniors for their exemplary scholarship, leadership and service.

Funds were raised through the Reindeer Run, a Christmas-inspired 5K on Ohio Northern’s campus.

“My goal was to do something that would help put a smile on the face of children,” stated Wohlgamuth. She felt the local hospitals would be a great outlet to do this.
