Navajo Tribal Police Officer Jim Chee and Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn investigate murders that lead them into spine-tingling and mystical world of Navajo witchcraft.

Three unsolved homicides and an attempt on Chee's life have left the Navajo Tribal Police baffled. Are the murders somehow connected, although they occurred 120 miles apart?

Ohio Northern University will celebrate Homecoming 2012 from Oct. 5-7. All alumni, friends, family, faculty and students are welcome to attend.

With its “Where in the World’s Klondike?” theme, Homecoming weekend will kick off on Friday, Oct. 5. The Pettit College of Law will host various sessions throughout the day, including the dedication of the Rare Book Collection room at 5 p.m. and a law donor recognition dinner to follow.

At 6:30 p.m., former athletes will be honored during the ONU Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony and banquet.

Bridge Home Health & Hospice is offering its 24th annual Living Through Loss educational series. The eight-month series will focus on the issues surrounding the death of a loved one. Sessions will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Marathon Auditorium at Blanchard Valley Hospital, 1900 South Main Street, Findlay. Dates and topics include:

The Ohio Northern University Freed Center for the Performing Arts presents Alice Tan Ridley in concert with the ONU Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 8:30 p.m. The ONU Symphony will be under the direction of Lloyd Butler.

Ridley, who began her career singing in the New York subways, gained acclaim through her YouTube videos and was nicknamed the “New York City Subway Idol.” In 2002, she won the Fox talent show “30 Seconds to Fame” with her soulful rendition of “Midnight Train to Georgia.”

Ohio Northern University’s 2012 Kritzler Lecture to focus on discovery of drug to treat epilepsy, migraines

Dr. Bruce E. Maryanoff will deliver Ohio Northern University’s 2012 Kritzler Lecture, titled “A Story of Adventure: The Discovery of the Drug TOPAMAX Topiramate for Treating Epilepsy and Migraines,” in The Freed Center for Performing Arts on Monday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m.
