Every November, Community Health Professionals joins home health and hospice agencies nationwide to celebrate National Home Care and Hospice Month, honoring healthcare employees and raising awareness of in-home health services available to local residents.
Private duty home care provides non-medical assistance for seniors and disabled clients, allowing them to stay at home amidst familiar surroundings and possessions, which has a positive effect on psychological well-being.

President Heather Cox called the weekly meeting of the Ada Kiwanis Club to order at 12:00 noon on Tuesday November 4th at McIntosh Center, Ohio Northern University, Ada.
The birthdays if member Bill Fuller (November 4th) was noted.
Charles Van Dyne reported that Peter Previte is doing fine after surgery and should be home this weekend. Myrna McCurdy also reported that Al Bailis is doing well after a visit last week.

The Ohio Northern University Department of Art and Design will hold its fourth annual Artists against Hunger luncheon in the Wilson Art Gallery on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m.
The Artists Against Hunger luncheon offers the community an opportunity to give back in exchange for a lunch and a handcrafted ceramic bowl made by students from Ohio Northern University and Hardin County schools. The bowls will be filled with one of a variety of soups, including minestrone, chicken noodle, butternut squash and chili.
The Ohio Northern University Men’s and Women’s Choruses will perform their fall concert in the Snyder Recital Hall of the Presser Hall on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The ONU Men’s Chorus, directed by Dr. Ben Ayling, will perform a varied selection of pieces, including works by Joseph M. Martin and Ethan Sperry and a barbershop piece arranged by Jay Giallombardo featuring the quartet “Half and Half.”
The Ada High School fall sports awards will be next Tuesday, Nov 12, at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium for fall high school sports except football and cheerleaders.
The next Western Ohio Chapter of the Lincoln Highway Association meeting is at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, at Biggie's Coast to Coast Restaurant, 116 E. Main St., Cairo (nn the old Lincoln Highway).
After attendees order dinner individually from the menu, Michael Buettner will present a program at 7 p.m., "The Lincoln Highway and the Harding Highway in Western Ohio - The Most Colorful Chapter of the Lincoln Highway History in Ohio." The public is invited.
