The Ada Youth Wrestling Club will hold wrestling sign-ups on Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Ada school cafeteria. The first sign-up day was Oct. 18, according to John McClain, coach.
The club is open to youth from Kindergarten through sixth grade. All experience levels from beginner to advanced are invited to participate. The club accepts boys and girls from Ada and all surrounding communities.
The Ada club is member of the Miami Valley Kids Wrestling Association (MVKWA), Dayton. Over 70 clubs are in the association and participate in weekly tournaments from December through February.

Ohio Northern University dedicated the newly renovated track and field and soccer complex as “Kerscher Stadium” during a ceremony prior to the ONU women’s soccer game against Capital University on Oct. 17.
The stadium is named in honor of Robert Kerscher and his wife, Barbara Kerscher. Robert Kerscher, a member of the ONU Board of Trustees, is the founder, retired chair and chief executive officer of Lexi-Comp Inc., an Ohio-based medical publisher.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ohio Northern in 1970 and his MBA from Baldwin Wallace University in 1978. He received an honorary degree from ONU in 2014.
Lincolnview swept the team championships meet run Saturday morning in Van Wert. Columbus Grove finished second in both races with Crestview finishing third. Lincolnview's teams also won in both the boys' and girls' junior high races.

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 c. Dijon mustard
1/4 c. maple syrup
1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
Salt and pepper
Rosemary
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a small bowl mix mustard, syrup and vinegar.
Place chicken breast into 9 by 13-inch baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. Pour mustard mixture over chicken, covering each piece.
Bake for 30-40 minutes. Season with chopped rosemary.
Dr. Feng Jao, Ohio Northern University associate professor of technology, is serving as entrepreneurial lead on a National Science Foundation (NSF) Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Teams project under a $50,000 grant received by Old Dominion University Research Foundation.
Jao will oversee “I-Corps L: Transforming an Innovative Embedded Design Educational Training System into a Commercially Available Product.” ONU’s portion of the grant is $6,000, which will cover Jao’s effort on the project. The additional grant money covers travel expenses related to the project. Jao previously worked with the Old Dominion team as a consultant.
