I urge everyone on the school board, in the Ada community, and Hardin County to think beyond themselves to their neighbors, their churches, to the businesses in town, and to the surrounding community.

By Christine North
On this past Thursday evening, June 18, I had the opportunity to enjoy one of the freedoms we have in this country – the right to free speech.

I and eight other engaged citizens from the Ada community spoke to the Ada School board regarding concerns related to the upcoming school year and measures which may or may not be in place regarding safeguards around COVID-19.

Here is the Hardin sheriff's log for June 23-24.

Countless residents quickly identifed the location of this wooden wheel, despite the fact that no one has boarded a passenger train in Ada in decades.

You will find the answer to this puzzle below. Next week we'll toss you a tougher one. Stay tuned.

Monday evening water main break repaired

Ada lifted its boil water alert this morning at 9:15 a.m.

The message is for r esidents at 221 East University, 220 East High St., and South Simon Street from East University to East Lima Avenue, South Park Avenue and North Park Avenue.

The water alert problem started with a water main break on Monday evening. Click here for that story.

The village message this morning reads:

DRINKING WATER PROBLEM CORRECTED

So you think you know Ada? This one is so easy that there are no hints. We'll give you the answer tomorrow, unless someone answers it correctly first.
