Early on a chilly mid-November day, a Village of Ada crew welcomed Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce volunteers for a morning of happy work, decorating Depot Park for the holidays.
Numerous red tubs were pulled from the Depot, filled with garlands, strings of lights, spotlights and red ribbons. Foreman Joe Hefner encouraged "Santa's elves" to go for it, but also provided guidance on what goes where. Village employees are also decorating Main St. light poles.
The Park District of Liberty Twp. Hardin County, Ohio met on the above date in the park office. Present were Bob Szuch, President, Jamie Hall, Commissioner, Paul Fletcher, Commissioner, Ken Wolke, Park Manager and Mary Jane Lee, Clerk. There were no guests present.
The minutes were read and approved. Jamie made a motion to accept the minutes; all were in Favor and the motion carried. The financial report was read and approved; Paul made a motion to accept the minutes. All were in favor and the motion carried. Bob and Jane are going to make an appointment with Mike Bacon to help us with some of the record-keeping of the grant.
