Some witnesses called it the story of the century in Ada. On Sept. 4 the 18,000-pound steeple (9 tons) was put in place 54 feet above ground level at the First United Methodist Church. Over 200 persons, including church members and Ada residents, watched the 45-minute process. The top of the steeple is 91 feet above the ground. Watch for lots of photos and videos coming.
