Speedy handiwork
If hummingbirds beat their wings 200 times a second, then these percussion players come in a close second with their speedy handiwork on xylophone (Chang Tong) and marimba (CJ Lavengood, Georgia Snelling, Audrey Livingston). Their song received a standing ovation from the 150 people who attended the fall instrumental ensembles concert Monday evening in Presser Hall. The hour-long program also featured the brass ensemble, woodwind choir, horn ensemble, flute choir, and percussion ensemble. (Michael J. Ayers photograph)
