Wilson Football Factory featured on Ohio Innovation Trail

Walker John Freytag was the stillborn son of Troy and Natalie (Fiene) Freytag on December 12, 2025.  

Walker is the little brother of Liam, Amelia and Austyn; and the grandson of Cecil Freytag and Kurt and Jamie Fiene.  

A private family service will be held.

Semiquincentennial and Bisesquicentennial. A.k.a. 250 years. The United States will be celebrating its Semiquincentennial in 2026. Most event organizers are using the shorthand “America 250.” I learned these vocabulary-builders at America 250-Ohio.

Downtown Ada was bustling with Merry on Main activities on Saturday, December 13. The annual event is promoted by the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce.

Families gathered at Depot Park to meet with Santa Claus and Ohio Northern’s lovable polar bear mascot, Klondike. The Depot was also the staging area for free horse-drawn wagon rides.

NAPOLEON–The Ada High School girls and boys swim teams competed at the tough 17-team Napoleon Wildcat Invitational on Saturday, December 13.

Bryan captured the boys team crown with 377 points. Lima Shawnee was a distant second with 274 points. The Ada boys also came in ninth with 84 points.

Host Napoleon won the girls team title with 402 points. Ottawa-Glandorf took second with 371 points. The Bulldog girls finished 11th with 31 points.
