I have seen an intense downpour, where cars pulled over to the side of the road for 10-15 minutes, until it subsided. But during those 4 days it rained with that intensity for hours on end.

Both my daughters were born and raised here in Ada. Both went to school K-12 at Ada Schools. Csilla and her husband moved to Texas in 2001. Aniko and her family moved there 6 weeks ago. I traveled out to see them and to celebrate my birthday with them.
Barbara J. Klingler, age 83, died on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at her residence in Ada surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born on July 25, 1934 in Troy, Ohio to Richard Clayton and Annabelle (Price) Hetrick. Her father, Richard Clayton Hetrick died in 1938.
Her mother, Annabelle later married James O. Orders who adopted Barbara and her sister. Her mother, Annabelle died in 2004 and her father, James died in 1986.
On October 2, 1954 Barbara married Leonard E. Klingler and he preceded her in death on July 3, 2003.

GAMBIER — Freshman Sabine Worthoff (West Chester/Mount Notre Dame) and senior Lynn Kelly (Mason) led the Ohio Northern women's tennis team at the Kenyon Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Vandenburg Courts.
Worthoff went 2-1 and finished second in the No. 6 singles flight and Kelly went 2-1 and finished third in the No. 2 singles flight.
The tournament consists of eight singles flights and four doubles flights with eight competitors in each. Each player will play three times and place positions 1-8 in each of the flights.
Sophomore Katie Curry (Oxford/Talawanda) also went 2-1 and finished third in the seventh singles flight.
On Sept. 7, while investigating a sale of illegal narcotics, officers with the Hardin County Crime Task Force arrested Matthew Williams of Lima. Williams had sold crack cocaine to Task Force detectives; he also had heroin, crystal methamphetamine and cocaine in his possession.
Williams was arrested at W. North and Detroit Streets in Kenton and was transported to the Multi County Correctional Center in Marion. His vehicle was removed from the scene and impounded by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with trafficking in narcotics and possession of narcotics.
