Ada's latest news

Over spring break, Ohio Northern history professor Russ Crawford took his World War Memory students to London, Portsmouth, Normandy, Caen, Rouen, and Paris. He shares, "We made arrangements to rub Omaha Beach sand into the headstones of 4 Hardin County soldiers buried there. Unfortunately, our bus driver made several wrong turns, so we arrived too late. However, the people at the American Cemetery at Colleville went out the next day and found two of the graves, and sanded them. In Paris, we were able to take part in the Rekindling the Flame (to the Unknown Soldier) at the Arc de Triomphe. Sudents  Courtney Garrison, Ayla Avila, and Russell Moorman laid a wreath as part of the ceremony."
