Looking for something different, carrot custard pie jumped out of the book of pie recipes and stared me in the face.
I was too curious to turn the page. So, knowing there was a very large carrot in the ‘frig, I sort of followed the recipe, and am happy to present the Icon Carrot Pie.

Five Ada groups participated in this past weekend's OIPA event in New Philadelphia, including flag line, rifle line, gold team winter guard, purple team winter guard and winds.
Congrats to all Ada performers and directors Mr. Lischak and Amy Webb. Perhaps the highlight of the day was the humorous award ceremony exit of one lovable t-rex (Jacob Bassitt) and monkey sidekick (Jacob Morgan).
Marie Maxwell plays balloon volleyball on Thursday with other residents of Vancrest in Ada. No one won, no one lost, but there were lots of smiles among the dozen or so residents who sat in a circle and batted the balloon around, even getting this photographer into the game.
