The Ada High School Music Department had a delightful experience at the 29th annual Music Celebration Concert at The Ohio State University on Friday, December 1. The event featured jazz, opera, bands, choirs, strings and the OSU Marching Band.
A standout moment was the women's vocal ensemble, who wowed the audience with their performance of "Fire." The students couldn't help but express their appreciation through cheers and (respectful) stomps. The jazz band also earned praise, leaving a lasting impression on the young audience.
Following the concert, the students explored the brand-new Timashev Family Music Building. They got a peek into composition study rooms, high-tech music technology spaces, classrooms, practice rooms, recording booths and rehearsal spaces. The students even caught glimpses of different groups rehearsing, experiencing the diverse world of music.
