Christopher Beaschler only knows how do accomplish things one way. Whether the
2012 Ada grad is fixing up properties during the summer for Ron Fleming, or if he is
conditioning for his fall debut as a University of Dayton football player, Christopher works hard.

The 6’1”, 200 pound all-state football player was known for his explosive hits and
aggressive style of play during his high school football career. He could be counted on for a major stop or a hard hit during crunch time and this leadership quality has helped propelled him to the next level.

Beaschler believes that transitioning from high school to college football will be “something different.” He has already completed a tough training schedule this summer, lifting weights hard and running sprints on the football field. His attitude just adds to the fact that he was born to play football. He says he felt especially prepared after being coached by Mike Fell and Frank Crea. He is proud to continue the tradition at Ada High School of sending talented football players to play at the collegiate level.

The University of Dayton is a Division 1 AA school and Mr. Beaschler is already
enjoying the perks of being a D1 player. The facilities and equipment are top notch. His locker was stuffed with shirts, towels, and practice shorts on his recent visit. Many of the Flyer’s opponents are states away, so the football team also has the opportunity to fly.

Chris is in a class with four other incoming freshman linebackers and will be wearing the number 45.

Christopher’s mantra is to “always believe in yourself and keep a high mental attitude.”
By religiously following these words, he worked hard and earned huge success. His
sophomore year he was given the opportunity to show what he was made of during the regional finals game against Delphos St. John's. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs had a heartbreaking loss, but Chris put in an outstanding effort. He collected a team high 13 tackles and gained his starting spot for the next season.

Christopher was an extremely well-rounded student in high school being kept busy in football, track, National Honor Society, Quiz Bowl, President of the Student Council, and was one of his class’ three Valedictorians. He will be studying engineering at the University of Dayton and is the son of Ron and Christy Beaschler.
