Ada Physical Therapy, 1200 S. Main St., Ada, which opened earlier this summer, held an open house and ribbon cutting on Aug. 21.

Scalfaro said that Ada Physical Therapy offers massage and physical therapy for a number of conditions, including:

• Back pain
• Vehicular accident injuries
• Sports injuries
• Stroke rehabilitation
• Neurological disorders
Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 pm. Mondays through Fridays. Also, on staff is Tony Thorpe, PTA.
Randal L. Anderson, 63, died on Aug. 21, 2019. at his home.
Randy was born June 2, 1956, in Bluffton to the late James and Esther (Schumacher) Anderson.
On Oct. 28, 1978, he married Kimberly Acheson Anderson who survives.
Randy graduated from Cory-Rawson High School in 1974. He co-owned Anderson Tractor Supply in Bluffton with his brother, Gary, for the past 43 years. Randy was a member of Bethel Church of Christ, Ada, where he had been a deacon, Sunday School teacher and head of the Missions Committee.
Rick M. Hamlin, 66, died on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019 at 12:51 a.m. at his residence in Dola.
He was born on March 1, 1953, in Lima, Ohio to Maurice R. and Emmy J. (Manns) Hamlin. His father, Maurice preceded him in death and his mother, Emmy J. Fox survives in Kenton. On Nov. 4, 1978 Rick married Brenda L. Brashear and she survives in Dola.
Rick retired from Durez Oxy Chemical of Kenton. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the Kenton Moose Lodge #428, the Kenton Eagles Post #2163 and the AmVets. Rick was an avid fisherman, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Long-time Ada resident, Alice Bucher, now living at Vancrest of Ada, celebrated her 103rd birthday on Aug. 14.
Mrs. Bucher was an employee at Triplett Corp., Bluffton, for 22 years, and may be the oldest living Triplett retiree.
She and her husband, Dale, had three children, two boys and one girl. Dale was the Ada scoutmaster for many years and he also served on several community boards and organizations in Ada. He died in 1999.
Today, Mrs. Bucher has 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
