ADA - A lone senior returns to pace the youthful Ada cross country team this fall.

Veteran Hunter Wells is back to run the grueling sport for fourth-year head coach Josh Klein, whose combined boys/girls roster boasts nine runners. There is only one female on the team.

"We are really young and inexperienced," admitted Klein. "But the most exciting part is working with a mostly young group that is new to cross country."

Ada lost eight runners from last season, mostly to graduation, including ace Miguel Jordan. Three lettermen return in 2019.

In 1991, the Ada Crunch U12 soccer team won the Black Swamp Soccer League tournament.

Paul White of North Canton, Ohio, has dedicated his career to utilizing his pharmacy skills and background to help others, and that spirit endures with the establishment of the Paul White Endowed Scholarship fund at his alma mater, Ohio Northern University.

The fund will support scholarships that will be awarded to ONU Raabe College of Pharmacy students from northeastern Ohio, with a preference to students from Stark County and surrounding counties. The first scholarship will be awarded for the 2019-20 academic year.
