Master Gardener program begins March 12 in Kenton
The Hardin County Master Gardeners are announcing their Spring Garden program schedule for this year. The programs will be held in the Mary Lou Johnson District Library meeting room, beginning on Wednesday, March 12. Each program will begin at 6:30 p.m., with time after the presentation for questions and discussion about that evening’s topic or other general gardening questions.
The series will begin on March 12 with Master Gardener Barb Snyder and a program on bees. Information on the “Life, Habitat and Misconceptions of Bees,” as well as their importance to agriculture and the home gardener, will be discussed. On March 19, Master Gardener Sue Brown will present a program entitled “Are you Dying to Learn about Dyeing Fabric?” Sue will present information on dying your own fabric and yarn. The last program will be on March 26 and will provide information on “Selecting, Planting and Caring for Annuals and Perennials.” Master Gardeners Judy Dosey, Sandy Pruden and Laura Bopp will present the final program. All programs are free and open to the public.
