Ada is a biker's paradise on Saturday
The bikers are coming to Ada on Saturday.
There could be as many as 300 – all on 10-speeds and similar varieties. Their arrival is part of the annual Young’s Ice Cream Charity Bike Tour, an 83-mile (one way) jaunt from Yellow Springs to Ada and return.

The trip to Ada is one of five options bikers may choose to ride. Here are all those options:
1 – One -day ride of 28 miles
2 – One-day ride of 48 miles
3 – Two-day ride of 60 miles
4 – Two-day ride of 83 miles per day (this one ends in Ada)
5 – Two-day ride of 83 miles per day with an optional 100 mile open on Saturday.
The purpose of the ride – in addition to the exercise – is raise funds and awareness for Young’s charities. This year’s ride supports The Alzheimer’s Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, South Community Behavioral Healthcare and United Rehabilitation Services.
Riders will be served lunch on the route to Ada on Saturday, dinner at Ohio Northern University Saturday night, breakfast on Sunday morning, lunch on route on the way back to Young’s on Sunday, and more ice cream at the picnic shelters at the end of the ride.
