Shirley Biederman 1933-2014
Shirley M. Biederman, 80, died on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 6:42 a.m. at her residence in Kenton, Ohio.
Shirley was born on September 25, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio to Fred H. and Ruth (Baldwin) Hawley and they preceded her in death. On September 29, 1951 she married Ralph F.Biederman and he died on September 23, 1991.
Shirley was a homemaker. She attended the Victory Chapel of Praise Church in rural Alger.
Surviving are four sons: Robert (Paula) Biederman of Kenton, William (Patricia)Biederman of Greensburg, Ind., James (Jeannie) Biederman of Delaware and Charles Biederman of Kenton; three daughters: Candice (Lonnie) Howard of Kenton, Saundra Essinger of Alger and Robin (Gary) Smith of Kettering; seventeen grandchildren, fifty-one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angela Guiles; a son-in-law, Steven Essinger; two brothers: Bill and Bob Hawley; and a sister, Virginia Hawley.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Paul Engle officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 20 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and until time of service at the funeral home on Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Associaton.
