Theatre Review by Monty Siekerman

The conclusion of ONU's production of the musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" met with a standing ovation Friday night and some whoops and hollers from students, all showing appreciation for another successful production at the Freed Center.

This musical is humorous and uplifting. Everyone left the Freed Center not so worried about personal problems or world events.

"How To"  continues the tradition of excellence in drama and musicals creatively-produced by the students and faculty in the departments of theatre arts and music.

For one shining moment, the world came together...at a multicultural fair at ONU on Friday evening.

Here, Shishir Yadav (left) of Nepal and Aron Hagos of Eritrea stand before many colorful flags, the flags representing the 25 countries which ONU students call home.

Nepal suffered a devastating earthquake a year ago; Eritrea borders Ethiopia. Both students are in Ada to get advanced law degrees.

All buckets of detergent and fabric softener come in a 5-gallon bucket marked with the type of product, along with a pump for easy dispensing.

These are high-quality private label products that are not affiliated with big name brands.  Each bucket sells for $45, which comes to just 7 cents per ounce.
