Charles Richard “Dick” Hubbard, age 86, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 10:25 a.m. at the Bowling Green Bridge Hospice Care Center.
He was born on November 5, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charles Richard and Lucille (Johnson) Hubbard. Dick was previously married to Nancy Hubbard. On March 19, 1993 Dick married Eilene Parshall and she survives in Ada.

The Ohio Northern women's golf team moved up one spot to finish seventh out of 17 teams in the final round of the Berry (Ga.) Chik-fil-A Invitational on Tuesday at the Coosa Country Club.
The Polar Bears (52-11 overall) finished with a final round 324 after a solid first round of 332 to finish with a 656.
No. 4-ranked Methodist (N.C.) won the team title with a 293-287—580, No. 14 Berry (Ga.) was second with a 300-304—604, NCAA Division II Shorter (Ga.) was third with a 296-314—610, No. 21 Denison was fourth with a 309-315—624 and Division II Coker (Tenn.) was fifth with a 327-315—642.
After listening to and reading messages from the school board candidates a couple things were very clear to me. Almost none of them went straight to the source for their information. Only one could say that she regularly attended school board meetings, or spoke to the superintendent and the treasurer in one-on-one meetings about how things run on daily basis. I spoke with that candidate and she expressed how both the superintendent and treasurer willingly answered her questions openly and honestly to the extent that they did not violate any privacy matters.
Ohio Northern sophomore Grace Honigford (West Chester/Lakota East) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the week of Oct. 19-25.
This is the third OAC Golfer of the Week accolade for Honigford this season and fifth such honor of her career.
On Monday, Honigford fired an 8-over-par 80 to stand tied for 24th of 97 golfers after the first round of the Berry (Ga.) Invitational at the Coosa Country Club.
She took a quadruple-bogey 9 on the second hole and responded by going 1-under par for her next five holes and shot 4-over par over the final 16 holes.
