ONU Child Development Center students recently became paleontologists. In their work, they uncovered several fossils. According to June Zimmerman they dug, sorted, classified and matched their findings. And, they wore appropriate scientific uniforms during the research. Blanchard Valley Health System’s Bridge Hospice Care Center Opens Six-Bed Patient Unit at Wood County Hospital

The Bridge Hospice Care Center, a division of Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS), has opened a six-bed patient unit on the second floor of Wood County Hospital. The Care Center was previously located at 1069 Klotz Road in Bowling Green and has moved to the hospital on Wooster Street.

The Ohio Northern University School of Visual and Performing Arts will present the musical “Blocked!” from Oct. 29-31 via livestream on freedcenter.com.

Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 29, Oct. 30 and Oct. 31, with a 2 p.m. matinee performance on Oct. 31.

“Blocked!” is the story of four teenagers trying to make connections online at a time when online is the only means they have.

These four teens each face social anxieties and isolation in their own lives that are only exacerbated when schools are shuttered and in-person activities are disbanded.

Ada High School graduate Samantha Crawford and a member of the University of Findlay's Marching Oiler Brass, recently performed via livestream during Virtual Homecoming Weekend 2020 to bring Oiler spirit to alumni, parents, and friends all over the world.

Selections included "The Star Spangled Banner," UF's "Alma Mater," and other songs with university spirit. The band is directed by Wes King.
