Story and photos by Monty Siekerman
We express our personalities in the clothing we wear, including headgear.
Here's a series of photos taken at the Harvest and Herb Fest on Saturday in downtown Ada.
We encourage Icon viewers to open the hat attachment at the bottom of this story.
You'll find funny stuff, team caps (always popular nowadays), cowboy hats, straw hats, hoods, a flag in the hair, military and band hats, and more...know any of these people? Check out the pooch, too, sporting an OSU cap.

Here's an important notice from the Ada Post Office from January, 1911:
Patrons of the post office will please observe that the office will not be open on Sunday afternoons hereafter.
Those served by carrier can call for their mail on Sunday morning at the time the office is open by going to the city carriers’ windows and asking them for the mail as they are on duty there and then, the same as the other department of the office.

A last second pass into the end zone from Ada quarterback Seth Conley was intercepted, sealing a 22-19 Spencerville victory over the visiting Bulldogs.
GAME STATS IN ATTACHMENT AT BOTTOM -
Conley threw for 370 yards in this tightly contested Northwest Conference battle, but a late Bearcat touchdown gave Spencerville a lead they would not relinquish. The loss drops Ada to 2-2 on the season and 0-1 in the NWC.
Solid defense kept both teams out of the end zone in the first quarter.
