Hat tricks - photo essay
Story and photos by Monty Siekerman
We express our personalities in the clothing we wear, including headgear.
Here's a series of photos taken at the Harvest and Herb Fest on Saturday in downtown Ada.
We encourage Icon viewers to open the hat
attachment at the bottom of this story.
You'll find funny stuff, team caps (always popular nowadays), cowboy hats, straw hats, hoods, a flag in the hair, military and band hats, and more...know any of these people? Check out the pooch, too, sporting an OSU cap.
Most folks go without something on their head, but if you look closely you'll see a myriad of styles being worn by people of all ages.
Ball caps, by far, are the most popular. Caps, like t-shirts, are imprinted with words and designs that support all manner of activities and organizations dear to the heart of the wearer.
What's your favorite hat? What does it say about you?
