Pharmacy student receives Premier Partner Scholarship
Emily Blum, a 2015 Ohio Northern University pharmacy graduate, was selected as one of the Premier Partner Scholarship award-winners and was honored for her achievements at the Cleveland Clinic Health System Pharmacy Resident graduation dinner on Monday, June 22.
Blum was recognized for her outstanding achievements in academic performance and experiential rotations at the Cleveland Clinic Health System Pharmacy. She received $1,000 and a plaque at the dinner.
The Premier Partner Scholarship recognizes Premier Partner affiliates and awards their students who complete a significant amount of learning experiences with Cleveland Clinic Health System Pharmacy and demonstrate strong experiential and overall academic performance.
To be eligible for the award, a student from a Premier Partner must complete at least 12 weeks (three standard one-month rotations) within the Cleveland Clinic Health System during their final year of pharmacy school in the 2014-15 academic year, have a cumulative GPA of greater than 3.7, and receive a grade of an A (or equivalent score if a letter grades are not awarded) on the rotation with the sponsoring preceptor.
