The fundraiser gospel sing at ReStore last Saturday evening drew about 50 people to hear seven vocalists and a saxophone player. The crowd enjoyed the uplifting music.

A movie crew will visit the Ada area in June to film a Civil War battle scene.
In hopes of distributing the film nationwide, the director turned to Ohio Northern University graduate, Jordan Kimes (BFA/studio arts ’15) to assist in production.
Kimes, the production manager for the film, “A Spy Not Like Us,” is hoping to begin her film career. She began working on the movie in December, right around graduation.
While a student at Ohio Northern, Jordan double-majored in studio arts (with a concentration in 2D) and theatre design & international production.
To recognize the anniversary, “We’re definitely going to do some celebrations,” says Dana Walters, ReStore director, in the current ReStore newsletter.
Look for pictures and tributes throughout the year, and a fall event that celebrates ReStore founders.

The second annual free Fourth of July Holiday Concert on Saturday, July 2, featuring the Lima Symphony Orchestra, will be held outdoors on the mall of Ohio Northern University as it was last year.
It will be held inside the Field House at ONU only in the event of inclement weather. The article about the event incorrectly stated that the concert would be held in the Field House and not outdoors.
The article also incorrectly listed the date of the next Ada Village Council meeting as Tuesday, June 7. It is Tuesday, May 17.
